U.S. Chamber of Commerce / Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness on CMC Policy Call

Earlier this week, CMC members were joined by a special guest, Jess Sharp, from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce / Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness. Jess discussed his organization’s priorities on Dodd-Frank Title VII legislation pertaining to end-users of derivatives. He paid special attention to the legislative initiatives in the House related to margin requirements on end-users and separately, inter-affiliate transactions between end users. The political dynamics of legislation to amend Dodd-Frank in the House and Senate were also discussed.
